My assistants lope horses and help around the barn: assistant trainer, Kory Lambert, and part-time assistants Emily Pedrazzi, and Ashley Jones. My husband Terry often helps me around the ranch.
Jamie Walker has been showing AQHA and APHA horses since she was 4 years old and in a wide variety of disciplines, including Cutting, Roping, Reined Cow Horses, Reining, Western Pleasure, English and Jumping. She has been training horses, starting colts, and giving lessons for over twenty five years.
Her main area of competition and training is currently concentrated in Reined Cow Horses and some Ranch Versatility.
She coaches a large group of students at the VCHA and NRCHA shows, where they all have a great time in a very supportive environment.
Along with her children (who she taught to ride of course) and her students, Jamie has won many awards over the years, and has many accomplishments that she's proud of both on the local level and nationally.
Kory Lambert is a very accomplished cowgirl in many different disciplines. Her very first riding lesson from a professional was with Jamie Walker when she was just 5 years old. She started out riding English and jumpers and also showed in western pleasure.
As she got older she began showing working cow horses, cutters and had a very successful high school rodeo career.
Kory gained knowledge and experience through working under several different trainers including Grant Setnicka, Travis Stewart, and John Bishop.
After moving back home from Texas, Kory was reunited with Jaime. She looks forward to her competitive and successful future at Walker's Performance Horses.
Emily is from England and has a background in English riding. She is enjoys cowhorses and learning about colt starting.
