Danielle and Corey Walker
Danielle Walker has been riding horses since she could barely walk. Growing up learning from her mother Jamie, she rode and showed in many different equine disciplines including English rail work and hunter/jumpers, western pleasure, trail, barrel racing, cutting, ranch versatility, reining, reined cow horse, 4-H and many more. In learning all the different disciplines Danielle now rides mostly reined cow horses competing in AQHA, NRCHA, NSHA, Valley Cow Horse, and local ranch versatility shows.
She has raised and trained her own horses, starting from basic ground work as yearlings, their first rides as 2 year olds, through being able to show them as 3-5 year olds in snaffles and hackamores, finishing them in a bridle, then usually selling to start over with another baby. While Danielle has rode and shown a lot over the years, she says her favorite part about riding horses is being the one who starts her colts and is able to train them from start to finish.
Corey Walker grew up riding and showing in many disciplines including western pleasure, show jumping, cutting, 4-H, and High School Rodeo where he won multiple championships and went to the Nationals. He is an accomplished team roper, specializing in heeling. Corey currently works for an agricultural seed company in Salinas.
